What’s happening in the world has us all feeling unsure of how to proceed. Coronavirus has caused a halt to an extent in all of our daily lives. I pulled back from creating and posting content at first as, it didn’t feel right to be sharing a happy moment or outfit photo. I’m hoping for the best and that this calms down as soon as possible.

But in the meantime finding ways to occupy my time and make use of being at home. One thing for sure is I have been forced to take more photos on my iPhone, which I’m honestly not mad about. I want to share more in the moment and things I see rather than only photos shot by a professional photographer. I’m late to the game when it comes to this I know, but better late than never. I put up a backdrop inside my office to start shooting with, so that’s something new I’m excited about!

I also submitted my first campaign that I shot on my iPhone. I have a few more coming up so I’m looking forward to creating great photos for those as well. Planning ideas and keeping each one organized has been keeping me occupied for the most part.

But overall I am doing well. I feel so much more intentional when doing things. I’ve had a few moments of feeling anxious as we don’t know how long the “stay home” practice will last. To handle those feeling I go outside, take a walk or do some breathing exercises to calms down. Talking to family and friends more via video chats help too!

How are you handling this new normal and what are you doing to stay occupied?!
