the blog

There’s no one size fits all or simple answer for this. I just wanted to share how I feel about it because I noticed a huge difference in myself over the last few years and 2019 specifically. It took from going through some really hard times and not having much of any confidence or hope for me to truly know better.

Here are 3 things that were so important in my healing and confidence growth.

  • Therapy
  • Passion
  • Setting & Sticking to Goals

Believe it or not but I have spent the last 5 years in therapy. Much easier to reveal now that I’m in a healthier space that a few years ago. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I needed to express myself to someone who knows nothing and was going to provide no judgemental feedback. I would have sessions once a month and sometimes more often if needed. Over time I was able to gain an understanding of my behavior and why certain decisions were made. This was not an easy process by any means, but it was just so necessary and really helpful in my experience. I’m o much more confident in who I am and what I have to offer.

I started modeling and showing an interest in content creation and really found so much love and passion in it. Having something I am passionate about and to put my energy into, in a positive way really helped me grow. It’s like those sayings about finding something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. Creating content is something I truly love and to be able to monetize it, is the icing on the cake. But most importantly, having something your passionate about leads to so much growth and happiness along your path.

Setting & Sticking to Goals.

Setting goals is one thing, but actually sticking to them is another thing! This practice helps build self-confidence because only you can do the work to keep the promises to yourself. Not only does goal setting help keep you organized and focused, but it also allows you to build structure around the things you want to accomplish.
