Step 1: Mood board. I like to gather images for the shoot inspiration or the photographer will provide one so that I know what the theme and wardrobe should be. This is also a good way to find new poses to use while shooting.
Step 2: Pull Looks! This is my favorite part of the preparation process. I love styling looks and putting things together in new ways. If I don’t have what I need I usually run to the thrift store or resale shops and have luck getting something as similar as possible.
Step 3: Take care of any beauty needs! I like to get my eyebrows and nails done if needed at least 2 days before shooting, so that way everything is settled beforehand. I’ll also try and moisturize and hydrate my skin as much as possible with face masks and cleansing oils.
Step 4: Pack. I like to make sure I have everything I need by packing the night before or as early as possible. Making sure I have extra things I may need for the shoot like, a lint roller, lash glue, wipes, sanitizer, and any other little items that may be needed.
